Kristina Finlayson

IP Alumni Assistant

Kristina Finlayson is the Study Abroad Peer Advisor for Scandinavia as well as the IP Alumni Assistant. She spent her Junior year abroad in Uppsala, Sweden and had the time of her life. From learning a new language to living in the snow for the first time, Kristina was able to experience things that she would have otherwise never gotten the chance to in California. She fell head over heels in love with the Swedish and European culture and hopes that she will be able to return within the next few years to teach English abroad. She enjoys traveling, meeting new people, going to music festivals and learning bits and pieces of other foreign languages. Currently, she is studying Communications in Media Arts and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2012...As for now, Kristina is staying put in Chico to encourage other students, like YOU, to go abroad - hopefully to her favorite city in the whole world: Uppsala, Sweden.
