Michael Deller

USAC Program Assistant 

As an avid student of foreign languages, Michael received his Bachelors degree in Linguistics and a minor in Spanish at CSU, Chico. At long last, he was able to punctuate his lengthy undergrad career with a semester abroad in San Sebastianán - Donostia, Spain, where he studied Spanish and Basque language at the Euskal Herriko Unibersitatea (University of the Basque Country). As a traveler and amateur photographer, Michael has thoroughly tread the roads of northern and southern Spain, as well as Portugal, England, Scotland, Austria, and Germany. While he is currently continuing his language-education pursuits as a graduate student in the Teaching International Languages Master's program at Chico, Michael is an enthusiastic recruiter of future global scholars, and looks forward to continuing his travels some day in the form of teaching English abroad.
