After spending a semester in Alicante, Spain, Trevor returned to Chico State Study Abroad to become the peer advisor for Spain. After only a few months reminiscing about life overseas, he decided he needed to go abroad again and spent a semester in Heredia, Costa Rica studying Spanish and Latin American Culture at the Univerisdad Nacional de Costa Rica. As a Spanish major working on his teaching credentials, Trevor spent time teaching English and working in an immersion middle school which has been one of his most rewarding experiences abroad thus far. While traveling through nearly all of Central America and bits of South America, he fell in love with the language and culture and upon graduation has plans to move to South America.
