Exhibit open throughout the conferenceStudents from Mark Stemen's Environmental Issues class have created educational posters on sustainable practices at colleges and universities around the nation. Come learn what more we can do to create a more sustainable Chico State.

Sustainable Furniture Showcase
Colusa HallChico State will build its first new residence and dining hall in 25 years.  Construction is underway and is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2010. It will accommodate over 200 students and have a state-of-the art dining facility. We intend that this new building will be certified as LEED silver, part of our campus commitment to be wise stewards of the natural world.

As part of the campus effort, we will be looking for furnishings and materials for our new facility that are "green" and sustainable and seeking to identify vendors noted for their commitment to sustainability. Your are invited to tour and experience this furniture showcase and learn more about what is possible and about the commitment of Student Affairs to the goals of the campus. Current residence hall students, staff, faculty, and administrators have also been invited on this open tour.
Thursday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Artists of the Natural World

This exhibition includes paintings and photographs which explore contemporary responses to imagery and processes of our natural world. The invited artists have exhibited their artwork (created in the this community) in galleries and museums across the country and abroad.  Their diverse  responses to nature as muse should prove intriguing, interesting and enjoyable.
