CSU, Chico Building Dashboard
This platform provides a public point of access to information on building energy consumption across the Chico State Campus. The Dashboard is connected to building-level utility meters on a range of campus buildings and provides real-time consumption data that can be analyzed by time-of-day, cost per unit, consumption trends per square footage and number of occupants, and can be compared building by building.
The Institute for Sustainable Development and Facilities Management and Services have partnered with Lucid Design Group to develop this Dashboard for the campus community. This interactive tool is intended to increase awareness and transparency of energy consumption patterns on campus, to help identify opportunities for conservation, and to engage building occupants in better understanding their buildings and the impacts of their interactions with them on campus energy consumption.
This Dashboard also underscores Chico State's commitment to sustainability, engagement, conservation, stewardship, and to reducing our institution-wide GHG emissions to net neutrality by 2030.
