Climate Neutrality at CSU, Chico
The Institute for Sustainable Development and Facilities Management & Services have partnered with Lucid to develop this Dashboard for the campus community. This interactive tool – the data and functionality it contains – are intended to increase awareness and transparency of energy consumption patterns on campus, to help identify opportunities for conservation, and to engage building occupants in better understanding their buildings and the impacts of their interactions with them on campus energy consumption. The public voted on the most innovative institution in each Carnegie Classification, and campuses with the top votes at the end of the competition had the chance to be featured in Planet Forward’s weekly webisodes, and potentially in other nationally-recognized blogs and major media outlets coordinated by Planet Forward.

CSU, Chico's electricity competition was ranked among the Top 10 in Campus Conservation Nationals (CCN) in 2014. Just in case you didn't know, CCN is the largest electricity and water reduction competition program for colleges and universities in the world. This achievement makes us very proud!


Green Honor Roll 2014 imageCSU, Chico was one of the 21 colleges and universities nationwide named last week to Princeton Review's 2014 Green Honor Roll, and only one of eight schools to repeat from the 2013 list.
