Scholarships

The School of Social Work considers requests for its the social work scholarships only after an applicant has been accepted for admission into the program. The Social Work School program has the following undergraduate scholarships available: the Archie McDonald (one for the highest GPA, one for community service, and one for a sophomore who shows promise in the field), the Mary (Dolly) French, the Aileen Collier Glenn, the Paul Martinsen Memorial, and the Art Preciado Memorial Scholarship. These scholarships are awarded to students who have attained sophomore status or above. For more information, contact the School Of Social Work Office at 530-898-6204. Interested students must apply by completing the University Scholarship Application which is available October 1st at www.csuchico.edu/scholarships. Students seeking financial assistance need to contact the CSU, Chico Financial Aid Office at (530)-898-6451.
