Dr. Mace has had social work practice experience in mental health, developmental disabilities, and children's services, He has worked in urban and rural practice settings. His current research interests include the etiology of violence, teaching effectiveness, international social work, social work practice in Asia, the dispersion of social workers and social work education, and the development of social work education.
