Introduction to the Society12/2 Halo! Everyone~ I am Shantell Hsu, the president of TSA this for semester 2006 Fall.I have been here for about one year, and found there are not too many people in the campus are aware of Taiwanese culture and some other Asian culture; therefore, I decide to change the name to Taiwanese Student Association which they exist in many of the university in US, and are there to help new coming students from Taiwan, and other students who are interested in Taiwanese culture. We welcome all people from many countries to join us. However, as I just start TSA, there are many things are new for me that I have to be advised from experienced people and learned for to improve the TSA~ Besides, I always think that there are many cool and interesting in Taiwan that we all should be proud of and be open to share with people here, so let people know how other side of the world living their fun lives and enjoy the their culture. Hence, there are still many things to do for more American students in Chico know more about TSA since there are not so many Taiwanese students here right now I plan to show a film in campus about traveling in Taiwan and is hosted by Megan (My favorite �� traveler host in Discovery travel channel) in CSU Chico campus! Unluckily, this DVD mailed two week late as we expected and I broke my ankle so there were many things that wouldn’t be able to process on time and the way it was planed, now it’s close to final exam so we will have this DVD shown the beginning of the next semester. The international adviser, Katherine would be willing to join us and we will invite more students from campus to join us to explore more of the beautiful Formosa�� Taiwan ��! After all, we have to thank for the TSA website program designer, Joseph! Who has been editing this website for all the TSA even though he is not stay in Chico anymore, he is always willing to combine TSA’s ideas of the websites and start to use his talent to make the cool website the way we wish!:) Besides, also people in TSA who always join our event and left great memories every time together! �摺lease let us know if there any way we can improve TSA, always feel free to send me emails ~Hope everyone enjoy their lives experiences here in Chico, and with a little bit of interesting exotic Taiwanese culture from TSA �� !9/3/05 Thanks to everyone that came to the welcome party.
