Miller Analogies Test

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level mental ability test requiring the solution of problems as analogies. The examination consists of 120 partial analogies that are to be completed in 60 minutes. Fluency in the English language; a broad knowledge of literature, philosophy, history, science, mathematics, and fine arts, and the ability to reason out relationships may contribute to your performance on the MAT.

On the Test Date: Report to assigned testing location no later than 10 a.m.

What to Bring:

  • Admission ticket.
  • Several sharpened #2 pencils with erasers.
  • Two forms non-expired positive identification. One form of identification must have a photograph and signature, such as driver's license, school identification card, government issued identification card, or passport. The second form of identification may include a credit card (with or without a photo ID), a library card, or a utility bill with the examinee’s name and address appearing exactly the same as on the photo ID.

Testing Time: The actual amount of test time is 60 minutes, however, you should allow an additional 45-60 minutes for completing the check in process and filling out the answer sheet.
