Duties for the Department: Supervise and lead additional staff and students in all areas of costume production for the School of the Arts. Collaborates closely with Faculty Design Supervisor in the training of students and as needed with classroom projects and or instruction. Routinely, designs, constructs costumes, and accessories using advanced historical patterning, draping, and tailoring techniques. Also, supervises students in the operation of the costume rental program.

Off campus related activities: Professional freelance costume and fashion designer for various theatre, dance, and clothing companies throughout California.

Experience and Training: Professional dressmaking and design for over 25 years. With 15 years as a costume technician at CSU Chico. Additional studies include; jewelry making, sculpture, painting, art history, and graphic design.

Costume Shop Philosophy: To work in harmony with other faculty and staff in a student centered shop to produce good Theatre that will ultimately enrich our lives.
