Capitalizing on the CDT tradition of presenting a multiplicity of styles of dance and music, this year’s show is called “Americana!” Our country is such an amazing repository of cultures and influences. So this year's student-and-faculty-choreographed dances reflect the rich heritage of the United States -- with a grateful nod to the many countries who have contributed to this diversity. We also celebrate what is indigenous to America: what is successful and what is challenging– what is traditional and what is new – what is individual and what belongs to all of us. All this comes together in a great dance show with wonderful lights, costumes, and music. Viva America!
