Schedule and Hours

Our lab is open Monday through Thursday 9am to 5pm.

Drop-in Lab Facilities

Faculty and Staff are invited to visit our drop-in technology lab in Meriam Library Basement Room 003 to develop curriculum materials. The lab is equipped with up-to-date Windows and Macintosh computers with the latest software and our knowledgeable student staff are available to assist with:

• Blackboard Learn 9.1 Learning Management System
• Making course content accessible to students with disabilities
• Creating and editing photo, audio, and video for course content
• Podcasting or lecture capture in our recording booths
• Digitizing from VHS and DVD for online streaming
• Scanning articles and documents
• Use of our checkout equipment

Lab Equipment and Software

• (3) iMac (2010) video editing stations with DVD burners and MiniDV/VHS decks
  - Final Cut Pro, iMovie video editing software available
• (6) Windows PCs with DVD burners
• (1) Video digitizing station with VHS, DVD or camcorder input and RealVideo or Kaltura output.
• (2) High-speed document scanners
• (3) Flatbed image scanners
• Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Dreamweaver
• Audacity audio editor
• (2) Podcasting booths for recording and editing audio
