What is SkillSoft, SkillPort and SkillChoice?

The CSU has partnered with SkillSoft to offer a multitude of eLearning options;

  • Unified delivery, behind the scenes, via SkillPort
  • Compliance training from third party vendors (e.g., LawRoom) via SkillSoft
  • SkillChoice eLearning courses for professional development.  Includes several certificate series on a multitude of topics. 
    This course was called Mind Leaders prior to 2014.
  • Access to ebooks.
  • Use campus authentication to enter the training system.

What is SkillSoft?

CSU's partnership with SkillSoft provides access to more than 600 SkillChoice eCourses and over 20,000 eBooks 24x7!

As a CSU employee, there are thousands of engaging online eLearning courses, books, and videos that you can take from the comfort of your computer. They are only a few clicks away, and all of them are FREE of charge!  The system conveniently tracks your progress and completion.  The courseware also offers certificate training hours towards professional certificates.  (Testing may be available on- or off-campus.)
