TRIO SSS scholars form a unique, close-knit community of first-generation students navigating college together as a cohort.
Participants are also provided ample opportunities to network with faculty, staff, and student leaders on campus and in the community. With the support, guidance, and encouragement of project staff- scholars are connected to mentoring programs, volunteer opportunities, internships, student employment, career fairs, student organizations, intramural sports, and more.
Lifelong friendships are formed each year.
