Who I
am
I was born and raised in a small rural town in Calaveras County. After graduating from Calaveras High School, I made the decision to attend California State University, Chico, where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in English with an option in Education. During my years at CSU, Chico I participated and worked for numerous programs, ranging from academic organizations to the cheer and dance team.
What my
interests are
I love music, dancing (especially hip-hop), golfing, camping, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, traveling and trying new foods. I also really enjoy telling stories (I love to tell people about my experience meeting Oprah).
Why Educational
Talent Search is important to me
In High School I learned about college requirements from friends and researching on my own. I always wished there was someone who could help me with that process. As an Educational Talent Search Advisor, I am able to do just that. I hope to motivate students to pursue their educational goals and realize their full potential.
