6th Grade Adventure Outing -- May 5, 2007

6th graders explored Sacramento and visited California History Museum, watched an IMAX movie, and took a special tour of the State Capitol.
College Visit 2 -- April 11-12, 2007

ETS students visited Sacramento State, Cal Maritime Academy, Stanford and San Jose State to see what college life is really like.
College Visit 1 -- April 3-4, 2007

ETS students travelled down to visit Sonoma State University, Santa Rosa Jr. College, CSU, East Bay and UC, Berkeley to get a feel for college life.

7th & 8th Grade Scholars Program -- February 6, 2007

ETS seventh and eighth graders enjoyed fun activities at the Scholars Program on the Chico State campus. Students tested their engineering skills to see who could build the best rollercoaster, flew straw rockets, viewed exhibits about the Maidu Indian tribe and learned about plant structure and how plants affect our lives.

Sophomore Career Faire -- January 23, 2007

ETS
tenth graders attended the Career Faire at CSU, Chico
to learn about career fields such as nursing, advertising, software design, law enforcement, teaching, journalism and law. Professionals came from companies like Intel, Enloe Hospital, the Department of Justice Criminalistics Lab, the Chico Enterprise-Record, Butte County Probation and more.

Admissions Seminar -- October 19, 2006

ETS
Seniors attended workshops at California State University, Chico
designed to lead them through the college admission process.
Representatives from California Community Colleges, the UC, and
CSU systems guided students through another stage of their postsecondary
preparations.
