Mission Statement

The mission of the Transgender Task Force is to educate Chico State and the surrounding community about gender diversity and to make Chico State and Chico a more transgender-inclusive community.

Planned Events

Lavender Graduation
Lavender Graduation is a celebration that acknowledges the achievements of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally community. This ceremony is an opportunity for LGBTQ students to be recognized for their academic accomplishments in higher education. This ceremony welcomes any student who is eligible for graduation in Spring 2012. The ceremony will take place on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 6:00pm at the Bidwell Bowl Amphitheater. Please join us after the ceremony for appetizers and refreshments on behalf of Leon Bistro.
