The University Police Department provides general law enforcement services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year round. The professionally trained staff protects life and property and oversees such areas as crime prevention, special events, emergency planning, parking administration and enforcement. There is always a sworn police officer on duty who will respond to calls for assistance.
CSU, Chico Police Department believes student success is paramount. Our police officers are visible and approachable on the campus and throughout our campus community. We believe the service we provide encompasses progressive enforcement with quality outreach and prevention programs. Our town and gown relationship is successful because of our strong collaboration efforts. We believe it is our responsibility to provide 100% service 100% of the time.
