Bus Rules

Due to limited parking availability, the following parking rules and procedures have been established
relating to safe movement and parking of busses.

California State University, Chico does not allow the parking of busses on campus or in campus parking lots.

There are designated areas for busses to load or unload passengers.  These include the "three minute" zones on the east side of Warner Street, directly across from Acker Gym and Shurmer Gym and also at the bus stop on Arcadian Drive, near Holt Hall.  ( Click here for map of Dropoff and Pickup Locations).  Once passengers have been unloaded, busses will need to park in one of the following off campus locations:

• 20 th Street Park - Parking area starting at the north end
  
• Wal-Mart parking lot - 2044 Forest Ave
  
• Chico Mall - Parking area between Logan's Roadhouse and Springfield Dr.

Athletic/Sporting Events - Visiting Teams:

Busses:
If coming by bus, please adhere to the bus parking instructions outlined above.

Mini-Vans/Passenger Vehicles:
Mini-vans and other private passenger vehicles may park in the Stadium parking lot, as long as the vehicle is parked within a "legal parking stall." Two parallel white lines mark a legal parking stall.  Vehicles must occupy only one stall and cannot be parked in such a way as to block all or any portion of the next parking space/stall.  Vehicles may not stop, stand or park at red curbs or areas painted red with ground marking. Handicapped/Disabled parking areas require a valid disabled persons placard. The Health Center parking lot is not for use by visiting teams or those attending athletic events.  Under no circumstances shall visiting teams be allowed to park vehicles in the "Reserved R3" stalls located in the Health Center parking lot.
