May is the final month for Chico Performances 2007–2008 season, and we're finishing the season with some great performers!
Hot and spicy Latin jazz will get your bootie shaking as the gorgeous members of Tiempo Libre shake up Laxson Auditorium on May 1, followed on May 3 by the mellow sounds of Canada's roots-rock legends the Cowboy Junkies. Opening for the Junkies will be newcomers Monohans.
Mexican-American singer and songwriter Lila Downs plays her cross-border version of Latin music on May 10, and the ever popular Blue Room Young Company's annual production will close out the season on May 21. This year, the kids of the Blue Room will be performing Seussical, Jr. This performance features many popular Dr. Seuss characters and catchy, up-beat tunes.
Be sure to look for the Chico Performances up-coming 2008–2009 season — we will announce it right here in the later part of May! Series tickets will go on sale for 08–09 season on July 1, and individual tickets will be available on August 4.

At the Performance: The Laxson Auditorium Box Office opens 1 hour prior to performance time. Tickets for ONLY the featured performance may be purchased at that time for an additional $2 per ticket. Doors open for the performances one half hour prior to start time.
