Field Trip Performances

The Who, What, When, Where and other information about Field Trips

Our world's finest artists in music, drama, and theatre!

Most Field Trip Series performances are approximately 50 minutes in length. We encourage teachers to review theater etiquette with students prior to performances.

The Field Trip Series is presented during school hours at 9:30 a.m. and/or 11:30 a.m. (unless otherwise noted). Doors open at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The Field Trip Series performances are presented in Laxson Auditorium at CSU, Chico.

Chico Performances Field Trips cost $5 per seat. Please be sure to include chaperones, bus drivers and parents in your Field Trip order. There is a "Mailing & Handling Fee" of $4 per order. Chico Performances has a "Payment in Full" policy—so be sure to check your school calendar for days your school is out of session. Once purchased, Field Trips are non-refundable, and there is a $10 exchange fee.

Vehicle parking is available in nearby city lots. Bus drop off and pick up is at Holt Hall (behind Bidwell Mansion). Buses must park off campus. Bus parking is NOT allowed at Bidwell Mansion, or any other campus parking lot. Click here for a bus parking map.

In order to seat your class when you arrive at the theatre, please have your whole group together. No food, drink, photography or video/audio recording is allowed in the theatre. Baby carriages and lunches must be left in the lobby. Chaperones and bus drivers must be included in the total seats purchased and be with your group when it enters the auditorium.
