"A doubledose of optimism and hope for the future." — Bill Gaither

Twenty-four children's voices lift in unison, their message undeniably clear. They are singing of hope, of love, and of world peace. From gospel and spiritual to folk and contemporary sounds, the Choir's performance is a celebration of the rich culture and traditions of their African roots. This rousing performance is filled with colorful costumes, authentic music, and beautiful harmonies, leaving all with a profound feeling of hope.

The African Children's Choir is made up of some of the neediest and most vulnerable children in their countries. Many have lost one or both parents to poverty or disease. The African Children's Choir helps these children break away from the everyday cycle of poverty and hopelessness.

These activities are supported, in part, with finds provided by the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF), the California Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
