"Brown maintains his cerebral, scientific demeanor while throwing around plenty of silly." AJC.com
With his upcoming tour, Alton Brown brings his brand of quirky humor and culinary-science antics to the stage. The 90-minute show is a unique blend of stand-up comedy, food experimentation, talk show antics, multimedia lecture, and, for the first time, live music. Audience interaction is strictly enforced throughout the evening, though if you’re called upon as a culinary assistant you’ll definitely want to take the lab coat Brown offers, as things tend to get messy. Brown has worked his weird magic on live audiences across the nation for over a decade, but this is the first time he’s actually hit the road with a live tour. The entire family will have a blast, especially as you sing along with Brown’s soon to be hits “Airport Shrimp Blues” and “TV Cookin Ain’t Like No Other Cookin.”
Alton Brown's performance is sponsored by Enloe Medical Center.
Nutrition is one of the cornerstones to good health and laughter is good for the soul. That is why Enloe Medical Center is excited to sponsor Alton Brown's Chico performance of The Edible Inevitable Tour.
The nutritional and nurturing aspects of food are important components to patient-centered care and healing. With that in mind, Enloe Medical Center welcomes executive chef Craig Thomas, former owner and chef at The Red Tavern in Chico, to our caregiver team. Having received awards and accolades in Food and Wine, Gourmet and Sunset magazines, Thomas is now bringing his fresh and healthy cooking style to Enloe with the new Great Living Menu, featuring restaurant-quality nutrition that is flavorful, healthy and good for you!
