Committed to sweet and nurturing music (honey) from the enduring strength of African-American legacy (rock), Sweet Honey In The Rock sings sacred music of the Black church, the civil rights movement, and songs for justice. Their soulful harmonies touch blues, spirituals, gospel, reggae, hip-hop, ancient lullabies, and stirring jazz improvisation. This performance is called Celebrating the Holydays.
