Recommended Minimum Specifications

The following specifications are User Services recommended minimum specifications for new computing purchases. User Services supports Dell and Apple systems. Visit our Support Guidelines page should you need further information on what we support, and how our chargebacks might apply to your area.
Note: ALL computers must be purchased with a 3 year warranty.
Failure to purchase a 3 year warranty might increase repair costs significantly for your department. All computing equipment out of warranty will incur costs for replacement parts.

Support for HP Ink Jet printers is limited to general software installation and initial problem consultation (check for cartridge, paper feed issues, etc.). User Services will not provide component level repair for Ink Jet printers given their nominal replacement cost. Non-Charged Department: No charge for installation and basic troubleshooting requests.
