This will bring up the System Properties window.  The speed of the computer’s processor, and the total amount of memory will be listed under the “Computer” heading.  The speed of the processor will be in GHz (I.E. in this example 1.80 GHz), and the amount of memory (or RAM) will be listed in MB or GB (In this example, 768 MB).

For hard drive size and available space:

Double-click the “My Computer” icon on your desktop.  Under the “Hard Disk Drives” heading there will be an entry that says “Local Disk (C:)”  Don’t click on the icon, just place the mouse cursor above it.  After a few seconds, a dialog box will appear stating the total size of the drive, and available free space.
