Updating McAfee VirusScan

To update your McAfee VirusScan program:

  1. Locate the VirusScan shield in your system tray (located next to the time in the bottom right corner of your screen).






  2. Right-click on the VirusScan shield and select Update Now.




  3. The update will now begin.



  4. Once the update is complete click Close.



  5. You McAfee VirusScan has now been updated.
