The Quick Access Toolbar
Though major changes have been made to the user-interface in Office 2007 (The Ribbon, Office Button), one important feature which has been retained is the classic Quick Access Toolbar. The toolbar was used in previous versions of Office to house commonly used tasks such as "Save" or "Print". In Office 2007, the toolbar can typically be located to the immediate right of the Office Button.

Any commands which the user frequently uses can be placed in the toolbar where a quick visit and a click will perform the desired operation. Customizing the Quick access toolbar has also been made easier than ever. Almost any command which is located within either The Ribbon or Office Button can be added simply by right-clicking on it, and selecting "Add to Quick Access Toolbar."
