Updating QuickTime (Windows)

QuickTime Player is a free media player developed by Apple. Follow the steps below to update your installation of QuickTime.

  1. Open QuickTime Player (Start > All Programs > QuickTime > QuickTime Player)
  2. Select Update Existing Software from the Help menu.

  3. Click OK when prompted.

  4. Click the Install button to begin the update.

  5. Click the Accept button to accept the license agreement and continue the update.

  6. The update progress will be indicated by the green progress bar.

  7. Click the Yes buttom to restart your computer and complete the update.
