SPSS
SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is used by a number of faculty and staff. The software is for use by faculty and staff for academic purposes. This includes faculty and staff home computers and laptops as long as the software is used solely for university related work. The software can also be installed in on-campus computer labs for student use. Students are not covered by the license to install the software on their home computers, although the AS ComputerWorks does sell academically-priced student versions.
If you have SPSS, you will get a warning about license code expiration at the end of September. New codes and software are currently available on our Aspen server for version 11 for the Mac and version 15 for Windows XP.
