Installing the Cisco VPN Client

Windows XP

  1. Go to http://www.csuchico.edu/uss/vpn/ and click on the download link for Windows 2000/XP.
  2. Enter your portal username and password and click on the Login button.

  3. Click on the Click here to begin the download link.

  4. Click on the Save button on the window that pops up.

  5. Double click on the downloaded file.

  6. Click on Extract all files.

  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Next.

  9. Leave Show extracted files check and click Finish.

  10. Double click on Setup.exe to begin the VPN client installation.

  11. Click on the Run button.
  12. Click on the Next button.
  13. Click on the Yes button to accept Cisco's licensing agreement.
  14. Click on the Next button to accept the installation location.
  15. Click on the Next button.
  16. Click on the Finish button to complete the installation and restart your computer.
