Welcome to the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the California State University, Chico.
The provost is the chief academic officer of the University responsible to the president for the implementation of the University's Strategic Plan for the Future with a particular emphasis on the creation of high-quality learning environments, faculty and staff development, the wise use of new technologies in learning and teaching, service to others, and an accountability for the strategic use of the resources entrusted to us by the state.
