Description: Microsoft Excel 2007 is a robust program for managing and analyzing data. This class will cover the basics of conditional statements, as well as data validation to input and analyze data quickly, and how to present data summaries in pivot tables. This class goes beyond the beginner level and assumes familiarity with Excel 2007. Description: Traveling off-campus or need to process travel expenses for reimbursement, but aren't sure what to do next?  This session will cover topics such as how to pay for conference registration, what forms to complete before and after travel to have your reimbursement processed quickly, as well as providing cost saving tips.

This session will explain attendance reporting, the impact of the audit process, the pay system, CSU timelines and constraints, and how leave balances, employee hiring and separation impact paychecks.

Description:  Do you know the differences between coaching and (corrective) counseling – and how to do both? The objective of this training is to provide supervisors ways to coach employees and provide disciplinary counseling when needed. The workshop will provide coaching skills tips, identify the difference between coaching and corrective discipline, illustrate how to approach an employee with a performance problem, outline requirements for essential documentation, help you understand and apply progressive discipline procedures. Description: This training session is intended for anyone who is set up as a manager and supervisor in the Learning Management System (LMS). During this session we will explore the system's ability to manage training for indivdual employees and groups that the manager or supervisor has access to, demonstrating how to run reports on employee training, how to assign employees training and how to remove employees from courses. Description: Do you sometimes feel like a certain co-worker isn’t really listening to you?  You have deadlines to meet that depend on information from others, but they’re not giving you what you need?  Looking for ways to get your messages across more effectively?  This course will overview the communication process and types of communication.  Based on the DiSC personal behavior and communication styles, the workshop will help you understand your preferred way of communicating and how that compares to others.  You can use this knowledge to adapt to others' styles to interact more effectively and build positive work relationships with co-workers.
