August 15, 2008 Last day to apply for a bachelor's degree expected August 2009.
April 6-August 18, 2009 State Summer Term and Regional and Continuing Education (RCE) Summer Session Registration Period. See the Class Schedule on the CSU, Chico Web for more information.
May 21 Fee Payment Deadlines for all State Summer Term courses. After this date students must pay fees to register. Late fees apply.
May 26-June 30 RCE May-June Intersession. See the RCE Bulletin and Chico Web for specific course offerings, registration procedures, fee payment, and deadlines.
May 26-August 14 The University observes summer hours (except selected offices): Monday-Thursday 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Friday 7-11 a.m. Admissions and Financial Aid offices open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
June 1-August 18 State and RCE Summer courses of varying lengths will be scheduled between these dates.
June 12 Last day to apply for master's degree expected in August 2009.
July 3 Independence Day observed -- campus closed.
August 7 Last day for master's degree candidates to take oral/comprehensive examination, submit thesis/terminal project, and submit final progress sheet to Graduate Programs.
August 21 Summer grades due in Student Records and Registration office. Deadline is noon, August 21.
August 31 Official summer term graduation date.
