| August 15, 2009 | Last day to apply for a bachelor's degree expected August 2010. |
| April 5-August 17 | State Summer Term; Regional and Continuing Education (RCE) Summer Session Registration Period. See the Class Schedule for more information. |
| May 20 | Fee Payment Deadlines for all State Summer Term courses. After this date students must pay fees to register. Late fees apply. |
| May 25-June 30 | RCE May-June Intersession. See the RCE Bulletin and Chico Web for specific course offerings, registration procedures, fee payment, and deadlines. |
| May 24-August 13 | The University observes summer hours. Monday-Thursday 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Friday 7-11 a.m. |
| June 1-August 17 | State and RCE Summer courses of varying lengths will be scheduled between these dates. |
| June 11 | Last day to apply for master's degree expected in August 2010. |
| July 5 | Independence Day observed -- campus closed. |
| August 6 | Last day for master's degree candidates to take oral/comprehensive examination, submit thesis/terminal project, and submit final progress sheet to Graduate Studies. |
| August 20 | Summer grades due in Student Records and Registration office. Deadline is noon, August 20. |
| August 31 | Official summer term graduation date. |
