California State University, Chico First Year Experience Action Plans

As part of our effort to focus on student engagement, California State University, Chico, will participate in the national "Foundations of Excellence in the First College Year" project. This will give our campus the opportunity to participate in a national conversation about six proposed indicators of excellence in the first-year experience. The reasons for our campus becoming involved are to:
1. Assure that all vice-presidential units are focused on student learning, in and outside of the classroom.
2. Bring coherence to the planning efforts of Academic Affairs, Business and Finance, and Student Affairs to assure student success.
