The California State University, Chico conducts assessment specific to the first-year in order to better understand the Chico first-year experience and to ensure continuous improvement in the facilitation of student engagement and achievement in the first year. This assessment is conducted with reference to our Strategic Plan and the dimensions of the Foundations of Excellence in the First College Year.
