Accountability

An essential element of the Cornerstones effort is the integration of an effective system of accountability into the fabric of institutional planning and resource allocation. The CSU Accountability Process sees performance accountability as a means of "informing the public about the performance of the CSU and its campuses" as well as" an opportunity to show commitment to continued progress." In turn, the CSU, Chico campus has committed itself to "being fully accountable to the people of the State of California" by creating an accountability environment that is linked to its vision, mission, and strategic priorities as well as to Cornerstones fundamental policy goals.
