Assessment Plan

The Music Department’s Assessment Coordinator will evaluate all aspects of the curriculum in terms of these 4 primary Student Learning Outcomes. The coordinator, with the help of the department faculty, will examine:

• Course content
• Class evaluation methods (tests, quizzes, projects, etc.)
• Auditioning and interviewing procedures
• Performance jury requirements and ensemble performance experience
• Papers and other written assignments
