Meet Our Vice President

Lorraine B. Hoffman joined the executive team in April of 2008. She is the former Deputy Senior Vice President for Business and Finance and Director of Non-State Capital Development and Facilities Planning at the UC Office of the President, and most recently the Chief Finance and Administrative Officer for the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) in San Francisco.

Vice President Hoffman's depth of experience is only matched by her breadth of experience from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, to real estate development, and teaching for the College of Architecture and Environment Design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Lorraine has a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning (MCRP) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She has also been an invited speaker at many national professional associations, trainings, and symposiums, such as the UC/CSU Sustainability Conference, Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), and the Western Center on Law and Poverty.
