Heather Lang

DANIEL

A ghost bike
at East Washington & 2nd
Street:
           stripped,
                         tireless. You’d say
For everywhere

we’ve been, we’ve been

there a first time.
A wasp shivers & traces
                  the shadow

of our dog, who is wonder-
fully unafraid.
