University Web Templates

As part of the Chico State web site design templates are being provided to help you update your pages. All web pages that are directly related to the university are strongly urged use this template. The template was revised over the summer of 2001 to comply with requirements of the ADA, section 508.

The web template has comments to guide you in following the design standards. Please also read the University Web Standards on this page.

Graphic Modifications
The standard CSU, Chico header consists of three or four segments depending on page spacing requirements: 1.header.a.gif (width 218), 1.header.b.gif (width 209), 1.header.b1.gif (width 20), 1.header.c.gif (width 161). These segments are defined in the template. Segment "b1" may be omitted or expanded depending on your requirements. Departments may elect to add the office name to the top of the "c" segment, as illustrated below. This graphic lettering should typically be produced by IMC (or in consultation with them) to adhere to other lettering standards on our Web site.

Offices should not display the office name over the center segment of the header graphic as illustrated below.
