Wildcat Welcome

Wildcat Welcome is a celebration of YOUR new membership in the campus community. Mark your calendars and prepare to kick off your Chico experience with a variety of activities to suit your tastes! You'll find that Chico is different from any other place. It's nurturing, rewarding, and at times demanding in a whole new way. We want to connect you with your campus and community early to develop resources and relationships in these new surroundings. At Wildcat Welcome you'll have the opportunity to find out what it means to be a Wildcat!  Get ready to meet:

• faculty and staff in your major department
• alumni
• student leaders
• clubs and organizations
• the Chico community
• university administrators
• and each other!

Plan to dive in this August and learn what you need in order to achieve your goals and have an excellent experience as a new member of your community. Please check this website for an updated calendar of events, activities, orientation times, and mandatory meetings.  (PS:  Your participation in Summer Orientation is not a substitute for your participation in the mandatory portions of Wildcat Welcome.  We want to make sure you don't miss a thing!)
