RAWLINS AWARDS This award bears the name of a World War II bomber pilot, Lt. Robert Merton Rawlins, who was killed over Tokyo Bay. The $1,000 award was established in 1981 by his mother and former Chico resident, Fern Rawlins. Students (from any major) are nominated by faculty members. Selections are based upon scholarship, extracurricular activities, and outstanding professionally-related academic accomplishments. No image for this years recipients.
