Besides being of 50's vintage myself I first grew to appreciate both the Advanced Design and Task Force Chevy Truck lines after owning and restoring a '51 3100 shortly out of High School. Two weeks after completion a woman ran a stop sign broadsiding my truck totaling it. In the 20 some odd years that followed I was able to pick up '55 2nd series 3204 and my wife and I were able to purchase her grandfather's '56 3116 Suburban Carryall. Both have become back burner projects as we add on to our house and try our best to raise our son Robbie while having more fun than we know what to do with.
