No matter which road is chosen as the entry point to the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation, there will be a sign similar to this one, telling the visitor how far it is to the administrative center of the reservation. At Agency, the administrative center, just a little jog from Highway 70, there is an excellent small museum featuring Apache history and contemporary life.
