Hanuman: The Loyal Servant

It is a story of love, adventure, and cultural belief. The Ramayana is an epic tale of Prince Rama of Ayodyha India. This is not just another tale to tell but it is a fascinating story of great characters. In this tale each characters provides an ideal role model to human being about love, loyalty, and trust.

Among these characters is Hanuman, the son of Vayu, the Wind God. Hanuman, the monkey and servant to Prince Rama is popular for his loyalty and self-surrendering devotion to his master. It may be questioned whether there is in the whole of literature another apothesis of loyalty and trustworthiness like that of Hanuman. He is the Hindu ideal of the perfect servant. A servant who finds full realization of manhood, faithfulness, and obedience. In the Ramayana he is said to be superior in strength, wisdom, amiability, and sweetness of temper. Yet, he is also endowed with enormous strength and he also possesses the gift of assuming any shape or form he desires, and his cunning speed and agility makes him an invaluable ally.

All over in India today, in parts where as the Himalayas or the interior of Maharashtra are symbols of primitive Hinduism still abound little chapels of Hanuman for worshipping.   From where he stands there is no question as of the qualities of his energy and beauty.
