My name is Joshua Thane Harlan and I was born in Oroville, California on May 6, 1977. My parents are Kenneth and Claudia Harlan. My father owns a pharmacy in Oroville, and is also pharmacist holding his doctorate from University of the Pacific, in Stockton. My mother does the bookkeeping and payroll for the business. She has her degree from Butte College.

I graduated from Las Plumas High School in 1995. After graduation I went to Butte College for two years. This is my second semester here at Chico State.

My hobbies are mountain biking, playing basketball, skating, and traveling. I have traveled all around the world. I have been to Spain, France, London, the British West Indies, and Grand Cayman.

I'm currently majoring in English, with a theme in Writing. I hope to become a writer.
