I was born in
Thailand and I came to the United States of America when I was about
three years old, so I don't remember much about my family's history.
So I took the Asian Studies class so that I can learn more about my
culture and family background. The Asian Studies class, taught by Dr.
Heinz, has increased my knowledge of Asia enormously. Before taking
the class, I had many questions about my culture, tradition, customs,
and many other interests about my history. The only education about
my past is what I've learned from my parents, grandparents, and
relatives. Although I have learned an enormous amount of material
about Asia, there is much more that remains unanswered.
